NCS Email Marketing Service provides a quick and cost-effective way for your business to:

Set up and amend your own mailing lists
Keep them up to date through batch or individual amendment
Acquire new subscribers by direct sign up from your website
Create and issue your own attractive, designer produced emails
Monitor results online with up to date statistics for each mail shot issue – who opened it, who clicked on which links etc
Enable individual subscribers to cancel their own unwanted subscription to keep your lists relevant
Meet best practice anti-SPAM guidelines
Keep your own work and time involvement to a minimum

How It Works

We discuss what you want to ensure we tailor our service to your exact marketing and process requirements.

You provide us with your initial lists – usually in c.s.v. or excel format and then update the lists as and when required
We upload your lists to our servers and/or amend them as required
We create / agree one or more design templates for your emails (for example you may want one template for a short flier and another for a longer newsletter).
When you want to issue a mail shot, you send us:
i. Any list updates you want
ii. Your email content for us to create the HTML and/or text email for you, or
iii. The HTML email or URL where you have created it
We update your lists, create / finalise the email and send it for you
We report to you on the issue
You can see online statistics on, for example, % opened, % bounced, comparison with previous mail shots etc.

If not done already, we help you link your website to your lists so your web visitors can sign up automatically.

SPAM Policy and Procedures

NCS SPAM Policy: – We do not support the issue of SPAM emails and request your co-operation to minimise SPAM complaints.

It is in your interest as well as ours to avoid any suggestion of SPAM. N.B. We reserve the right to withdraw our service from any clients generating large numbers of SPAM complaints.

SPAM complaints arise when recipients feel (rightly or wrongly) they have been sent an email they have not agreed to or is now unwanted. They might complain formally or delete the offending email using their SPAM button on their email software if they have one.

We recommend:

You only use lists generated by yourselves or where you are absolutely sure the list members have given you full permission to email them (and not just via a third party permission)
New list members are added through Double Opt In procedures (people enter their details and then confirm this after receiving an email to their input email address)
Each email carries a message at the top saying why they are receiving this email and an obvious unsubscribe link too.
Recipients are given every opportunity to cancel their subscription.

Costs

Costs depend on your requirements, mail shot frequency and list size.

Standard costs for smaller lists are:

List set up £30 each list (one-off cost)
Template Graphic Design £90 each (one-off cost)
Compile Mail Shot (if required) £95 each mail shot *
Issue** £60 plus 2p per recipient**
Online Management Information No charge

Notes:
* Depends on the work involved. If you create the mail shot HTML yourself, then there is no charge
**The mail shot issue charge also covers your list management. It can be reduced for larger lists, or where more frequent mail shots are made – e.g. more than monthly – Ask for our quote on your lists.
